It is evening. It promises to rain. My heart is beating in its gentle arrythmia and I listen to myself breath. My future begins to pour into the present and I can't help but watch my visions and dreams swirl around my happy little toes. The unknown beckons at my tiny little door and I fear it. I hear the laughter and freedom and I long for it. The joy is bubbling in my heart and even in my throat, awaiting its booming transformation into laughter.

I still can't fly except within my dreams. But I no longer need to live in dreams. Now I just need to figure out how to fly here.
